Kerrville Farmers Market

Just Local Farmers. Just Local Food.

Following the market on Sunday, September 25, 2011, from 2 to 4 p.m., the Local will close for the season. The Local will reopen next Spring at a new location in Kerrville. As you know, this summer was a challenge for growers and ranchers alike, and was a tough season to open a new market. We will work hard this fall and winter in an effort to offer additional vendors and create an even better source for local food for all of us. To our loyal customers, who have stood by us all season, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. People like you who care as much about fresh, local food as we do are the reason we do what we do. To those who have not tried us yet, we hope that you will come out next Spring to the new and improved Local. We will be posting information on our Facebook page [link] during the off season, to keep you all abreast of what we are doing and where we are headed. Thanks again for your support. The Local Kerrville Farmers Market is a new farmers market opened in 2011 in downtown Kerrville, at 941 – 945 Barnett Street, one block east of the First Baptist Church.

The Local features only produce, grass-fed meats, prepared food, and value added products produced right here in the Texas Hill Country by its members. Our market management visits each farm to ensure that everything sold at the Local is produced in a natural and sustainable manner.

The Local is run by farmers, for farmers, with its customers being the ultimate beneficiaries. The Local is open each Sunday during the growing season from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. We invite you to what we hope will become a Sunday tradition of local, righteous food in Kerrville. See you at the Local, and bring your friends!
